Wet gas flow meters are often used to measure gas volume and instantaneous flow rate. In the selection, the following factors can be considered:
1. Measuring range: wet gas flow meters usually have a large measuring range, which can cover different flow requirements. It is recommended to select the required maximum flow rate corresponding to the flow meter 1/2 flow range.
2. Measurement uncertainty: According to the actual flow measurement requirements, choose a wet gas flow meter with higher uncertainty. The options are ≤0.2%, ≤0.5% and ≤1.0%, usually we only provide ≤0.2% meter
3. Material selection: The material of the wet gas flow meter needs to consider the chemical properties and temperature of the fluid. We usually use 304 stainless steel, the material has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, suitable for a variety of fluids. Customized services are available for special needs.
4. Temperature and pressure range: according to the actual working conditions, electronic temperature and pressure transmitters can be selected, and glass tube thermometers and U-type manometers can also be selected. Wet gas flow meters usually work under pressure ≤10kPa, and customized services can be provided if there are special requirements.
5. Volume counter: Choose the traditional mechanical counter (effective counter 8 bits) and intelligent integrator display output according to the actual needs. It is recommended to use a pure mechanical counter when measuring flammable and explosive gases, and an intelligent integrator can be selected for non-explosion-proof environments, which can liberate timers, visually display instantaneous flow and cumulative volume of a single experimental measurement.
For the selection of wet gas flow meters, the measurement range, measurement accuracy, material selection, temperature and pressure range can be considered comprehensively.
