At the end of 2012, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China issued JJG577-2012 "Verification Regulations for Membrane Gas Meters". The new regulations were officially implemented on March 3, 2013. After implementation, it will replace JJG577-2005 "Verification Regulations for Membrane Gas Meters".
